Update

The ultrasound yesterday went well; the cysts in the cerebral fluid area are gone and the baby seems to be in perfect shape albeit a bit on the large side (4 lbs. 11 oz.) for 32 weeks. The doctor said he may have me come in for yet another ultrasound should the baby continue this growth trend. I would think my due date would just move up, but I'm not the doctor!

I'd share more pictures if I had them; the little stinker was even LESS cooperative than last time. It had its face pointing toward my back and the technologist couldn't get any good shots no matter what we did! Maybe if I get another ultrasound it'll cooperate...maybe.

Estelle is busy as usual. She enjoys giving the baby (aka Mommy's belly) kisses and/or raspberries, depending on her mood. She has also figured out how to take her diapers off
at the most inconvenient times. Josh found her naked when we went to bed last night, and this morning when she woke up. To her credit, she did bring a clean diaper to Daddy both times. But this morning she took off a stinky diaper without me knowing. I'll leave the rest to your imagination--but only because I didn't have the camera handy to take some pictures.

Josh is getting things rolling with the youth center. The biggest issue right now is getting board members to do what they said they'd do, when they said they'd do it. We're hoping that we get some very handy (new) people on the board, but getting enough "real" board members together to vote on new members has proved troublesome.

On a more positive note, Josh and a prospective board member have found a building for rent that would serve as a great youth center. The owner is excited about the possibility of the youth center returning (many in town think it dissolved because it doesn't have an official location) and the price seems very reasonable. Hopefully a vote to rent the space rather than focus on constructing a new building will pass at the next board meeting (September 11). We'll keep you posted.
